Falcon has been a learning experience for all of us. What a wonderful caring staff academics, therapy, and of course equine. The encouragement and support they have provided to our ffaamily cannot be measured thank you falconridge for the life tools you have given to our daughter on this first leg of a life journey.

Falcon Ridge was an interesting experience. I give it three stars. I was in Falcon for 19 months of my life and it was a whirlwind. The medical staff is not the best. I had two kidney stones when I was there and I was not taken to the doctor nor taken seriously for about two weeks and when I was laying in fetal position on the floor bawling my eyes out, they finally decided to take me to the doctor. The food is terrible most of the time. I personally am not a vegetarian but lord I would hate to be at this place. All the food for vegetarians was microwaved patties of grossness. :/ I was continuously yelled at when I did something wrong and was restrained quite a few times and they made me believe that it was "helping me" and that it was all my fault. The restraints were not minor either. There were two girls while I was there that had their wrists broken. In one instance of a restraint my fingers were numb for about a month and a half. I was once choked in a restraint. NOT OKAY. If you don't do what they want, you'll be on the floor hurting and crying. The few ways that Falcon did manage to help me was by realizing that I didn't ever want to be in treatment again, made me realize that I had to do it on my own and that in the long run I would be all I have, and blessed me with an amazing connection with a horse that I'll never forget. God bless the girls here. They try so hard and most of the time Falcon picks favorites and sometimes won't let people leave even if they are trying. Sometimes they hold people longer for money. Its ridiculous sometimes. I wouldn't send my child here unless absolutely necessary and if I had tried everything else to no avail.

A great program for struggling girls. We've been so impressed by the girls we've met through their equine program and other events they've hosted. We love horses, and we love to see those struggling girls work with their horses.

Falcon Ridge Ranch saved our daughter. After being unable to help her overcome her issues with our local therapist, he recommended Falcon Ridge as a residential program where she could be helped 24x7 where at home or school there was no way we could ensure her safety. The first few weeks were difficult, but soon we began to see her beginning to love life again. The horses are so beautiful and we love how she has connected with her horse and is learning how to have compassion for others by what she is learning through that relationship. LOVE IT!!!
